Heidi Bixby-Goblirsch

President and CEO

Heidi believes that her purpose in life is building relationships and influencing positive changes to elevate the lives of other people and community around her using her strengths, talents and experience. Heidi has always been drawn to helping connect, advocate and create a better world for all.

In her former position at Greater Collinwood Development Corporation, she was given the opportunity to help provide insight, develop a plan, and lead the community in the right direction.

Prior, Heidi served as the Executive Director for The Metanoia Project - an overnight, seasonal shelter for Cleveland’s most vulnerable unhoused neighbors.

Before that, Heidi served as the Executive Director of the West Shore Family YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of Greater Cleveland located in Westlake, Ohio, from 2017 - 2020. During this time, she helped guide the branch several fundamental changes that lead to a closer alignment to the organization’s mission.

Starting in 2015 Heidi worked as the Executive Director at Big Brothers, Big Sisters in Marshfield, Wisconsin, where she transformed a once struggling mentoring program into a financially and operationally stable non-profit.

She began her non-profit journey at the UMOM New Day Center, the largest family homeless shelter in Phoenix, Arizona. She began working in development but moved to case management under the SSVF grant to gain a better understanding of the population the shelter was serving.
